Inocras Secures $31 Million Series B-3 Funding
San Diego-based Inocras Inc. has closed an oversubscribed $31 million Series B-3 financing round, bringing its total funding to approximately $100 million.
The round was backed by strategic investors NDS Corporation and Aimed Bio Inc., along with new investors including IMM Investment, Korea Investment & Securities, LoftyRock Investment, DT& Investment, Woori Investment & Securities, and Shinhan Securities.
Expanding Whole-Genome Precision Oncology
The company will use the new funding to expand its CLIA/CAP-certified whole-genome sequencing (WGS) laboratory operations and automated bioinformatics platform across the United States.
Inocras aims to transfer its clinical workflows and precision oncology models, already deployed across Asia, into U.S. healthcare systems.
AI-Powered Whole-Genome Analytics
Led by CEO Jehee Suh, Inocras develops bioinformatics software that transforms whole-genome sequencing data into clinically actionable insights for cancer diagnosis and treatment.
Its platform includes:
CancerVision™ — comprehensive whole-genome profiling for somatic and germline cancer analysis, detecting SNVs, indels, copy-number alterations, structural variants, non-coding mutations, tumor mutational burden (TMB), and homologous recombination deficiency (HRD).
MRDVision™ — a panel-free circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) solution designed for ultra-sensitive molecular residual disease (MRD) detection with sensitivity down to 1 part per million (ppm).
Growing Clinical Adoption
Inocras reports that its technology has already been adopted across more than 100 cancer institutions in Asia, including approximately 30 hospitals in South Korea, while also establishing a major commercial presence in Hong Kong.
The company has also collaborated with researchers from the Broad Institute to analyze thousands of The Cancer Genome Atlas (TCGA) cases, helping establish standardized benchmarks for whole-genome interpretation.
Scaling Precision Medicine
By combining high-depth whole-genome sequencing with automated bioinformatics pipelines, Inocras aims to help clinicians identify complex genetic alterations that conventional targeted sequencing panels may miss, supporting faster and more comprehensive precision oncology decisions.
