HappyRobot Raises $150 Million at $1.2 Billion Valuation

San Francisco-based HappyRobot has raised $150 million in Series C funding, reaching a $1.2 billion valuation as it accelerates the deployment of AI voice agents across enterprise industries.

The funding round was led by Prysm Capital and co-led by Eurazeo, with participation from existing investors Andreessen Horowitz (a16z), Base10, and Y Combinator, alongside Koch Disruptive Technologies, Orange, Deutsche Telekom's T.Capital, Bankinter, Endeavor Catalyst, Leadwind, and Wave-X.

Expanding AI Agents Beyond Logistics

HappyRobot will use the new capital to expand beyond its logistics roots into insurance, energy, utilities, telecommunications, airlines, and banking.

Its AI platform automates enterprise workflows by handling phone calls, emails, paperwork, and multi-step operational processes that traditionally require human coordination.

From Computer Vision to Enterprise AI

Founded in 2022 by Pablo Palafox (CEO), Javi Palafox (COO), and Luis Paarup (CTO), HappyRobot initially built a computer vision startup before pivoting to AI voice agents after participating in Y Combinator.

The strategic shift helped the company rapidly scale its enterprise business.

Growing Enterprise Customer Base

HappyRobot now serves more than 150 enterprise customers, including:

  • DHL

  • Kuehne + Nagel

  • Uber

  • Naturgy

  • Repsol

The company also works with eight of the world's top ten freight brokers and two of the top three ocean carriers.

According to the company, its AI agents achieve:

  • Over 70% autonomous task resolution

  • 9.4/10 customer satisfaction

  • Automation of 28,000+ work hours per month for some customers

Building AI for Operational Workflows

Unlike many AI voice startups focused primarily on customer support, HappyRobot targets complex operational workflows across enterprises.

Its platform is designed to coordinate tasks across multiple business systems, enabling organizations to automate mission-critical operations without requiring employees to change existing workflows.
