Clario, a company focused on enterprise data management, has raised $6 million in Seed funding to support product development and business expansion.
The funding round was led by Preface Ventures. Several investors also participated in the round, including Foster Ventures, Golden Sparrow, High Sage Ventures, Moment Ventures, Mentors Fund, Page One Ventures, Rain Capital, Ridge Ventures, and Transform VC. Angel investors Michael Callahan and Baris Aksoy also joined the round.
The company said it will use the new capital to grow its operations and continue developing its platform.
Founded by Yousuf Khan and Madhu Vohra, Clario develops technology designed to help enterprises identify and manage redundant, obsolete, and trivial data files, often referred to as ROT data.
According to the company, unmanaged ROT data can increase storage costs, reduce operational efficiency, and affect the performance of AI systems used across enterprises.
