Palo Alto-based Buzz Solutions has raised $20 million in an oversubscribed Series A funding round to accelerate the development of its AI-powered grid intelligence platform for electric utility infrastructure.

The round was led by S3 Ventures, with participation from GoPoint Ventures, HearstLab, and Blackhorn Ventures.

The company will use the new funding to:

Founded in 2017, Buzz Solutions was co-founded by Kaitlyn Albertoli (CEO) and Vikhyat Chaudhry (CTO).

Its flagship PowerAI platform provides an AI-powered visual inspection and orchestration layer that enables utilities to analyze the condition of assets across:
