Butterfly Learnings Raises Rs 65 Cr Pre-Series B Led by Inflexor Ventures
Mumbai-based paediatric behavioural health platform Butterfly Learnings has raised Rs 65 crore ($6.7 million) in a Pre-Series B funding round led by Inflexor Ventures, as the company looks to expand its care network and strengthen its technology-led approach to child development.
Existing investors Enzia Ventures, Insitor Impact Asia Fund and IIMA Ventures also participated in the round.
The fresh capital will be used to expand Butterfly Learnings' centre network beyond Maharashtra, strengthen its technology and AI capabilities, and increase the deployment of its Get SET Early autism screening solution through hospitals and paediatricians. The company also plans to expand its therapist training programme.
Founded by Dr Sonam Kothari and Dr Abhishek Sen, Butterfly Learnings provides care for children with autism, ADHD and learning disabilities. Its platform combines clinical therapy, inclusive schooling, diagnostics, digital therapeutics and technology-enabled interventions.
The company currently operates 90 centres across 22 cities in India and also runs a therapist training institute focused on behavioural healthcare standards.
A key part of Butterfly Learnings' technology offering is Get SET Early, an eye-tracking based autism screening solution for which the company holds an exclusive global licence. Following CDSCO approval, the solution can be used to screen children from one year of age.
Butterfly Learnings plans to expand its presence across India while building partnerships with hospitals and paediatricians to increase access to early screening and behavioural healthcare services.
The latest funding gives the company additional capital to scale its centre network, technology infrastructure and therapist ecosystem as it works to make specialised behavioural healthcare more accessible to children and families across the country.
