Aampere Secures €4.2 Million to Scale Used EV Platform

Munich-based startup Aampere has raised €4.2 million in a new funding round to accelerate the growth of its digital marketplace for used electric vehicles across Europe.

The round was led by Trind Ventures, with participation from existing investor Gimic and new strategic investor Vend Mobility, part of Vend Marketplaces, the company behind platforms including FINN.no, Blocket, and Bilbasen.

The latest funding values Aampere at more than €20 million and follows the company's €1.6 million funding round announced in October 2025.

Building Digital Infrastructure for the Used EV Market

Founded in 2022 by Florian Reister, Niko Schmidt, and Maximilian Rost, Aampere operates a digital platform that connects private and commercial sellers with dealers across Europe through an auction-based marketplace.

The platform uses a pricing algorithm, digital vehicle inspections, and dealer auctions to provide sellers with purchase offers within 48 hours, while handling payment and vehicle collection after a sale.

According to the company, it now sells several thousand electric vehicles each year, employs more than 25 people, and has quadrupled its revenue over the past 12 months.

Expanding Across Europe

The new investment will help Aampere attract more vehicle sellers, expand into additional European markets, and strengthen its marketplace infrastructure as demand for used electric vehicles continues to grow.
