Assistant Property Readiness Coordinator - Real Property Management Pros
Real Property Management Pros is seeking an Assistant Property Readiness Coordinator to help deliver smooth move-ins, efficient move-outs, and excellent customer service across our single-family rental properties.

What You’ll Do
Oversee move-ins and move-outs by scheduling property evaluations, documenting property conditions, answering resident questions, and coordinating follow-up.
Coordinate make-ready projects, including repairs, cleaning, and other services between resident turnovers.
Communicate with vendors, contractors, leasing agents, and internal teams to ensure properties are ready for new residents.
Serve as a key resident contact during transition periods, resolve concerns, and encourage feedback.
Collaborate with Leasing Agents to provide updates on property conditions, project progress, and investor needs.
Educate property owners and investors on property status, potential upgrades, and maintenance needs.
Maintain accurate digital and physical records of property conditions, communications, and project details.
Use property management software and other technology to track tasks and keep information current.
Who You Are
Customer-focused and committed to creating positive resident experiences.
Detail-oriented and able to identify issues during property evaluations and make-ready processes.
Organized, flexible, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
A clear communicator who can work effectively with residents, investors, contractors, and team members.
Comfortable using software, apps, and online platforms.
Locally based in Northern Virginia, ideally within the portfolio service area, and able to perform field visits.
Interested in real estate and eager to build a career in single-family property management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Customer service, project coordination, property management, or related experience is a plus.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
Ability to pass required background checks.
Compensation & Benefits
$18-$25 per hour, based on experience.
Potential performance bonuses based on team and NPS performance.
Full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime paid at 1.5x.
Hybrid work structure combining field work, remote tasks, and office collaboration.
Initial training: 3 days per week at the Gainesville, VA headquarters and 2 days per week at the Alexandria office.
8 paid holidays plus additional PTO based on tenure.
Mileage reimbursement for field visits and errands.
