Role overview
Summary
Lead and support complex commercial real estate transactions including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, and development. Conduct and manage due diligence, draft and negotiate transactional documents, and advise clients on asset management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate across teams to resolve transactional issues and develop creative, business-oriented solutions for clients.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and support transactions involving acquisitions, dispositions, financing, joint ventures, leasing, and development of commercial real estate assets
Conduct and manage due diligence, including title, survey, and zoning analyses
Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents such as purchase agreements, leases, easements, and financing documents
Advise clients on asset management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance matters
Handle lease negotiations, including preparation of estoppels and SNDAs
Collaborate across teams to resolve transactional issues and support broader client needs
Stay informed on market trends and legal developments impacting commercial real estate
Develop creative, business-oriented solutions for clients
Qualifications
6–15 years of commercial real estate experience in a law firm setting
Strong knowledge of title and survey review, estoppels, SNDAs, easements, and related documentation
Proven ability to manage complex transactions from start to finish
Licensed (or ability to become licensed) in Washington
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and client-service mindset
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
