SWISSto12 Secures $70 Million Series C to Scale Multi-Orbit Satellite Business
Swiss aerospace company SWISSto12 has raised $70 million in a Series C funding round to expand its multi-orbit satellite manufacturing business and increase production capacity for its satellite platforms and payload technologies.
The company said the new funding will be used to scale manufacturing and integration capabilities as demand grows from commercial and government customers for satellite communications across low Earth orbit (LEO) and geostationary orbit (GEO).
Funding to Support HummingSat and HummingLink Expansion
SWISSto12 plans to use the capital to accelerate production of its HummingSat compact geostationary satellite platform and HummingLink payload and antenna solutions designed for multi-orbit satellite missions.
According to the company, it has secured seven HummingSat contracts with global satellite operators, including SES and Viasat. More than 2,000 HummingLink components are already operating in space across various satellite missions.
Profitable Growth Drives Expansion
SWISSto12 reported $140 million in revenue for 2025 and said it has achieved a 110% compound annual growth rate since 2022, reaching positive EBITDA during the period.
The company also stated that its contracted order book now exceeds $500 million, reflecting increasing demand for satellite infrastructure supporting telecommunications, secure communications, and multi-orbit connectivity.
Expanding Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities
SWISSto12 develops satellite hardware using its proprietary 3D printing and advanced design technologies to manufacture lightweight radio frequency components for space applications.
The company said the new funding will support expansion of its production facilities and engineering workforce as it continues developing satellite solutions for commercial and sovereign customers.
In addition, the European Space Agency (ESA) recently awarded SWISSto12 an $84.8 million partnership project to validate the HummingSat platform in orbit.
