Indian quick food delivery startup Swish has raised $24 million in a new funding round led by Bertelsmann India Investments (BII), as the company looks to expand its network of neighbourhood kitchens and strengthen its position in the rapidly growing 10-minute food delivery market.

The round also saw participation from existing investors Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, and Hara Global. The latest financing takes Swish's total funding to approximately $78 million.

Founded in 2024 by Aniket Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S., Swish operates a network of neighbourhood kitchens designed to prepare and deliver fresh meals to customers within 10 minutes.

The startup currently operates across Bengaluru, Gurugram, Noida, Delhi, and Ghaziabad.

More than 1 million monthly orders

Swish says its monthly order volume has crossed 1 million, with orders tripling since March 2026.

The company's menu has also expanded to more than 250 SKUs spanning over 20 food categories. While the platform initially focused heavily on snacks and late-night consumption, lunch and dinner now represent a larger share of its orders.

Swish says more than 80% of its orders are delivered within 15 minutes, highlighting its focus on speed while maintaining a broader food selection.

The company currently covers around 50 pincodes and plans to significantly expand its geographic footprint as it adds more kitchens.

Building a large neighbourhood kitchen network

The latest funding will primarily be used to expand Swish's kitchen network, strengthen supply chain infrastructure, and increase operational capacity.

The company plans to enter additional Indian cities and has set an ambitious target of operating more than 1,000 kitchens over the next five years.

Its neighbourhood-kitchen model is designed to place food preparation closer to consumers, allowing Swish to reduce delivery distances and support faster fulfilment.

The approach puts Swish at the intersection of several rapidly developing Indian consumer trends, including quick commerce, food delivery, and distributed cloud kitchens.

Competition heats up

Swish is scaling at a time when major consumer internet companies are increasingly competing for ultra-fast food orders.

Blinkit's Bistro, Zepto Cafe, and Swiggy's Bolt are among the platforms targeting consumers who want prepared food delivered in a matter of minutes.

Swish also operates within the wider online food delivery and cloud kitchen ecosystem, competing indirectly with established operators such as Rebel Foods and Curefoods.

The company's challenge will be to maintain delivery speed while expanding its menu, kitchen network, supply chain, and geographic coverage.

From early losses to rapid growth

Swish launched in July 2024 and reported revenue of Rs 4 crore during the eight-month period of FY25, alongside a total loss of Rs 19 crore.

The company has not yet filed its FY26 financial results.

According to Entrackr's estimates, the latest financing values Swish at approximately $175 million post-money.

The new capital gives the company additional runway to expand its footprint at a time when consumer expectations around delivery speed are rapidly changing.

If Swish can scale from its current 50-pincode footprint toward more than 1,000 kitchens while maintaining delivery economics and food quality, it could become a significant player in India's emerging quick food delivery category.
