Sereact Receives $6 Million Investment from Zalando

Germany-based AI robotics startup Sereact has secured a $6 million investment from European e-commerce company Zalando, expanding its Series B funding to a total of $116 million.

The investment will support the commercial rollout of Sereact's AI-powered robotics software and accelerate its expansion into international fulfillment markets.

Scaling AI for Warehouse Automation

Founded by Ralf Gulde and Marc Tuscher, Sereact develops Cortex, a hardware-agnostic AI operating system designed to automate warehouse operations.

The platform enables robots to perform complex logistics tasks such as item picking, returns handling, and autonomous navigation, while supporting multiple robotic platforms, including humanoid robots.

Expanding Global Operations

Sereact plans to use the new capital to strengthen product engineering across multi-arm and humanoid robotics while expanding its presence in global fulfillment centers.

The latest investment follows the company's $110 million Series B funding round announced earlier this year, bringing the total Series B financing to $116 million.
