PixVerse Secures $439 Million in Series C Extension
Singapore-based AI video generation startup PixVerse has raised $439 million through its Series C extension, taking the company's valuation to more than $2 billion. The startup said the new funding will support the expansion of its world model technology and accelerate customer growth across international markets.
The company completed its initial Series C round in March 2026, led by CDH Investments. While the company did not disclose the size of that initial investment, Bloomberg previously reported it to be around $300 million.
Major Investors Back the Latest Round
The Series C extension attracted investments from Alibaba, Lollapalooza Capital, Ivy Capital, Grand Mount Capital, Eastern Bell Capital, Mirae Asset, BlueFocus, and CloudAlpha. Existing investors iGlobe Partners and Lion X Ventures, the venture arm of OCBC, also participated in the round.
Founded in 2023 by Wang Changhu and Jaden Xie, PixVerse develops AI-powered video generation models for consumers, enterprises, and creative professionals.
Expanding AI Video and World Models
PixVerse offers several AI models, including its V-Series for consumer and API-based video generation, C-Series for professional filmmaking and commercial production, and R-Series world models designed for game development and virtual world creation.
According to the company, its platform supports AI-generated videos in up to 4K resolution with integrated audio. PixVerse reported having more than 150 million registered users and over 15 million monthly active users globally.
The startup also offers image-to-video generation starting at $4.80 per minute.
Funding to Accelerate Global Expansion
PixVerse said the new capital will be used to strengthen its world model research, launch the next generation of its V-Series video model, release an updated world model later this year, and expand enterprise adoption worldwide.
The company has already partnered with Alibaba to deploy its AI video generation capabilities and plans to grow its workforce by hiring additional AI researchers and go-to-market professionals. PixVerse currently employs 150 people across offices in Singapore, Beijing, and Shanghai.
