Pilot Protocol Secures $4.5 Million in Seed Funding
San Francisco-based startup Pilot Protocol has raised $4.5 million in Seed funding to expand its AI agent networking platform.
The round was led by Version One Ventures, with participation from Precursor Ventures, Night Capital, Todd & Rahul Capital, Lenny Rachitsky, and Ben Tossell.
Led by CEO Razvan Roman, Pilot Protocol is developing an internet network layer that enables AI agents to discover, communicate, and transact directly with one another.
Creating a Network for AI Agents
Pilot Protocol provides every AI agent with its own network identity, allowing agents to securely connect and collaborate across applications.
The platform enables AI agents to discover other agents, access a curated App Store of verified tools, and execute agent-to-agent payments without requiring manual setup.
According to the company, its network currently supports approximately 250,000 AI agents, collectively generating around 2 billion requests per day.
Scaling AI Agent Infrastructure
The newly raised funding will be used to expand operations and accelerate product development as Pilot Protocol continues building infrastructure for autonomous AI systems.
The company aims to simplify communication and interoperability between AI agents as enterprise adoption of autonomous AI continues to grow.
