Mumbai-based women's wellness brand Nua has raised $50 million in Series C funding led by Peak XV Partners and Filter Capital, as the company looks to expand its product portfolio, distribution network and reach across India's women's wellness market.
Existing investors Mirabilis Investment Trust and Footpath Ventures also participated in the round. The transaction includes both primary capital and a secondary component, allowing early investors including Kae Capital, Lightbox VC and existing angel investors to achieve partial exits.
With the latest round, Nua has raised approximately $71.5 million in total funding.
Building a broader women's wellness brand
Founded in 2017 by Ravi Ramachandran, Nua offers products across period care, maternity care and everyday intimate wellness.
The company says it currently reaches more than 3 million women and girls every month and has expanded its offering beyond physical products into digital services.
Its portfolio includes the Nua Period Tracker App and SecretKeeper, a chat-based platform designed to provide women with additional support around intimate wellness.
Rapid revenue growth
Nua has reported significant growth over the past two years, claiming that its annualised revenue run rate increased from approximately Rs 100 crore to Rs 500 crore.
The company also says it has remained profitable while scaling its operations.
According to Peak XV Partners, Nua has become the second-largest online player in India's women's wellness category, highlighting the company's growing presence in a market traditionally dominated by large consumer brands.
Funding to accelerate expansion
The new capital will be used to strengthen brand building, expand distribution and geographic reach, and increase investment in research and development and new product development.
Nua intends to use the funding to build a broader portfolio addressing the evolving needs of women and girls across different stages of life.
The company has now raised more than $71 million, including a $4 million pre-Series C round led by Mirabilis Investment Trust in February 2025.
With its latest $50 million investment, Nua is positioning itself for its next phase of growth in India's rapidly expanding women's wellness and personal care market.
