New Delhi-based healthtech startup Medulance has raised ₹24 crore in a Series A funding round to expand its emergency ambulance network, strengthen its hospital and enterprise business, and upgrade its technology and connected ambulance infrastructure.

The round saw participation from Alkemi Partners and Equentis, providing Medulance with fresh capital to scale its technology-enabled emergency medical response services across India.

Building a connected emergency healthcare network

Founded in 2017 by Pranav Bajaj and Ravjot Arora, Medulance is focused on improving access to emergency medical transportation through technology.

The company operates a GPS-integrated ambulance network that allows users to request emergency transportation through its mobile app and web platform. Users can track ambulances in real time, helping improve visibility and response coordination during medical emergencies.

Medulance works with individuals, hospitals, corporations and government organisations, providing services that extend beyond traditional ambulance aggregation.

Expanding emergency healthcare services

Medulance provides a range of emergency healthcare solutions, including ambulance services, telemedicine, corporate healthcare programmes and emergency response management.

Its network is supported by trained paramedics, 24/7 helplines and technology-enabled coordination between patients, ambulances, hospitals and other stakeholders.

The company has also developed partnerships with state governments, hospitals and enterprises to provide end-to-end emergency assistance.

Technology at the centre of operations

India's ambulance and emergency response sector remains highly fragmented, creating challenges around availability, response times, coordination and transparency.

Medulance is using technology to bring these different components together through connected ambulances, GPS tracking and digital booking infrastructure.

The company says its focus is now shifting toward building a more sustainable, technology-led model while expanding its institutional partnerships.

Funding to support the next phase

The ₹24 crore Series A funding will be used to expand Medulance's emergency ambulance network, strengthen its hospital and enterprise operations, and invest further in technology and connected ambulance infrastructure.

Co-founder and CEO Pranav Bajaj said the company has learned from its earlier iterations and is prioritising operational scale alongside a sustainable technology-led model.

With the latest investment, Medulance aims to strengthen India's emergency healthcare infrastructure and make critical medical support more connected, accessible and reliable.
