kausable Secures €12 Million in Seed Funding

Heidelberg-based AI startup kausable has raised €12 million in Seed funding to accelerate the development of its reasoning-first frontier AI models.

The round was led by UVC Partners and Entourage, with participation from HTGF, Mätch VC, and private angel investors.

Founded by CEO Johannes Haux, CTO Dr. Benjamin Herdeanu, and COO Gregor Ramien, kausable is developing foundational AI models designed to learn efficiently from minimal data while adapting to new scenarios without retraining.

Building Reasoning-First Frontier AI

kausable focuses on reasoning-first AI, enabling models to rapidly learn from limited datasets and generalize to situations that were not anticipated during development.

Its flagship platform, TipPFN, is designed for complex dynamic systems and supports prediction of rare events across multiple industries.

The technology targets applications including:

  • Robotics

  • Cybersecurity

  • Healthcare

  • Energy systems

  • Financial forecasting

  • Scientific research

By emphasizing rapid learning and adaptability, the company aims to improve AI performance in environments where traditional retraining approaches are inefficient.

Supporting Team Expansion and Model Development

The newly raised capital will be used to expand kausable's team of AI experts and further develop its rapid-learning frontier AI model.

The investment supports continued research into reasoning-first AI capable of operating across a broad range of complex real-world applications.
