Miami-based Comp AI has raised $34 million in a Series A round to expand its AI-native compliance and security platform into continuous cybersecurity.
The round was led by Roo Capital and Grand Ventures, following rapid growth since the company's founding in January 2025. Comp AI says it has achieved 15x year-over-year ARR growth and now serves more than 1,000 customers globally.
Moving from periodic compliance to continuous security
Traditional compliance software helped companies replace spreadsheets, consultants, and months of manual preparation with automated workflows. However, much of the underlying security and compliance work has continued to depend on people and periodic assessments.
Comp AI is building an agentic approach designed to make those processes continuous. Its AI agents use organizational context to automate onboarding, policy and risk generation, evidence collection, control monitoring, and vendor assessments.
The company says this can help software businesses become compliant in days rather than quarters while maintaining the rigor required for security and regulatory requirements.
Expanding into cybersecurity
With the new funding, Comp AI plans to move beyond audit readiness and compliance automation into continuous cybersecurity.
Its roadmap includes real-time monitoring, control validation, and security testing across applications and infrastructure. The company is positioning its platform around environments that change rapidly as businesses release software more frequently and AI accelerates both development and emerging security risks.
Comp AI serves organizations across healthcare, financial services, higher education, professional services, and software. Customers named by the company include Corgi, Dub, OpenCode, Inference, and Primer.
Scaling the team and platform
Comp AI will use the Series A capital to accelerate product and engineering development, expand its cybersecurity capabilities, and grow teams across product, engineering, operations, sales, customer success, and marketing.
The company is headquartered in Miami with an office in New York.
Comp AI was founded by CEO Lewis Carhart, COO Claudio Fuentes, and CTO Mariano Fuentes. The company says its platform is purpose-built around what AI agents can execute and verify, rather than simply adding AI to older compliance workflows.
