As the Product Manager, you will own the commercialization of our SME credit products — from opportunity sizing and pricing through launch and post-launch optimization — ensuring each product is market-ready, commercially viable, scalable, and compliant.

This is a hands-on individual-contributor role, working across Business, Product, Technology, Marketing, Risk, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Data teams.

Job Responsibilities

Commercialization Strategy

  • Own the end-to-end commercialization plan for SME lending products — opportunity sizing, proposition, pricing, business case, launch, scaling, enhancement, and retirement.
  • Translate market research, customer needs, portfolio data, and competitor intelligence into segment priorities, value propositions, and investment recommendations.
  • Define target segments, channel strategy, sales proposition, commercial terms, and go-to-market plans with Business and Marketing.

Pricing & Commercial Performance

  • Own pricing strategy and governance — frameworks, rate cards, fee structures, return thresholds, approval authorities, and exception principles.
  • Develop risk-based pricing recommendations using funding cost, expected loss, operating cost, capital consumption, customer value, and competitive benchmarks.
  • Build business cases, unit economics, revenue forecasts, and profitability/sensitivity models with Finance and Risk.
  • Monitor price realization, margin, yield, and risk-adjusted returns; recommend repricing or portfolio actions when performance deviates.

Launch & Digital Delivery

  • Lead cross-functional launch readiness — product requirements, credit policy, customer journeys, operations, controls, documentation, training, and reporting.
  • Convert commercial and credit needs into clear requirements and prioritized roadmaps with Product, Design, and Technology.
  • Resolve delivery trade-offs while keeping stakeholders aligned on scope, timing, and commercial outcomes.

Performance & Lifecycle Management

  • Define and monitor KPIs: acquisition, funnel conversion, approval rate, utilization, price realization, yield, revenue, margin, risk-adjusted return, CX, and portfolio quality.
  • Use cohort, segment, channel, and funnel analysis to identify growth opportunities, friction points, pricing gaps, and emerging risks.
  • Design experiments and post-launch reviews; recommend improvements based on measurable outcomes.

Governance & Responsible Product Design

  • Embed MAS requirements, responsible lending principles, credit policy, risk appetite, and conduct standards throughout product design and commercialization.
  • Own the product-program repository — approval papers, decision trails, version control, and renewal submissions — audit-ready at all times.
  • Coordinate inputs/approvals across Credit Risk, Operational Risk, Fraud, Legal & Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Technology; support audits.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience across lending product management, commercialization, or product development in a bank, digital lender, fintech, or financial institution.
  • Hands-on knowledge of SME lending products such as working-capital loans, term loans, credit lines, or trade finance, including credit assessment, loan structuring, and risk-based pricing.
  • Proven experience taking a regulated financial product from concept or enhancement through approval, launch, adoption, and performance optimization.
  • Strong pricing and financial capability, including risk-based pricing, unit economics, profitability, business cases, forecasting, sensitivity analysis, and commercial KPI management.
  • Working knowledge of digital product delivery, customer-journey design, agile practices, product requirements, testing, and technology dependencies.
  • Sound understanding of Singapore banking regulation and the ability to work constructively with Risk, Legal and Compliance, and governance forums.
  • Clear executive communication and strong stakeholder influuence; able to turn complex product, credit, and commercial issues into concise decisions and action plans.
  • Excellent spoken and written English and Mandarin Chinese for engagement with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and partners.

Preferred

  • Experience in a digital wholesale bank or fast-growth finntech serving SMEs.
  • Practical experience with SQL, BI tools, experimentation, or product analytics.
