Role overview

Summary

Senior Product Lead – Internal Platforms

Senior Product Lead – Internal Platforms

About the Opportunity

We are partnering with an established, technology-driven organisation seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a critical internal enterprise platform. This is a highly visible role offering significant autonomy, direct exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to shape product strategy, roadmap and execution.

We are looking for someone who can think strategically, challenge existing processes and take ownership beyond traditional project management.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from identifying business requirements and defining strategy through to delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute product roadmaps aligned with business priorities and long-term objectives.
  • Lead the enhancement and modernisation of existing enterprise platforms, introducing new features and improving functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to optimise workflows, improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable business value.
  • Exercise independent judgement in product prioritisation, decision-making and resource allocation.

Business & Stakeholder Management

  • Act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating complex operational requirements into actionable product initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Finance, Risk, Compliance and Operations teams to understand challenges and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Engage senior executives to present product strategies, recommendations, priorities and delivery progress.
  • Manage competing stakeholder expectations while maintaining alignment with broader business objectives.

Product Delivery & Execution

  • Work closely with engineering teams to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and deliverable solutions.
  • Oversee product initiatives from planning through implementation, ensuring effective coordination and execution.
  • Balance strategic product development with hands-on delivery and project management responsibilities.
  • Establish clear priorities, track progress and proactively address delivery challenges.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product team members where required.

Key Requirements

  • Ideally 12–15 years of relevant experience, although exceptional candidates with 7–8 years of strong product ownership experience will also be considered.
  • Proven experience owning and delivering complex enterprise or internal-facing technology products.
  • Strong capabilities in product strategy, roadmap development, stakeholder management and end-to-end delivery.
  • Experience working with multiple business functions and translating operational requirements into scalable technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, influence senior stakeholders and make sound product decisions.
  • Experience enhancing established or legacy platforms while balancing new development and ongoing business requirements.
  • Good technical understanding and the ability to collaborate effectively with engineering teams. Hands-on software development experience is not essential.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills.

Preferred Background

  • Experience within FinTech, financial services technology or complex technology-driven organisations.
  • Exposure to internal enterprise platforms supporting business operations, risk, finance or compliance functions.
  • Experience in growing or scaling technology businesses, particularly where product managers have broad ownership across strategy and execution.
  • Background working directly with senior executives and influencing strategic product decisions.
  • Experience guiding or mentoring junior product professionals would be advantageous.

Interested candidates, please apply to this job posting, and send your CV with the job title as the subject line to: a.ramlan@gravitasgroup.com.
