Summary
The Land Administrator assists in creating, preparing, finalizing, auditing, updating, and maintaining all land documentation, land project maps, agreements, and contracts. This role involves preparing easements, managing databases, conducting landowner record searches, and ensuring accuracy in all land-related tasks.
Land Administrator
The Land Administrator supports the creation, preparation, finalization, auditing, updating, and maintenance of land documentation, project maps, approved agreements, contracts, and other documents related to land ownership and obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
Organize and maintain internal and external land records and company files.
Update project overview maps, plat maps, survey exhibits, line lists, spreadsheets, weekly reports, and other project documents accurately.
Prepare easements and other land-related documents in a timely and accurate manner.
Create and maintain project tracking databases and enter and review project data.
Review and organize company files for accuracy and completeness.
Prepare agreements and documents for the acquisition of land rights, including mineral and surface rights.
Respond to clients professionally and within established turnaround times.
Generate accurate and timely check requests for landowner payments and report payment information to appropriate personnel.
Prepare correspondence to landowners on behalf of the company and/or client.
Support Project Management and other internal departments as needed.
Conduct landowner record searches and other required research.
File documents of record when applicable or required.
Follow TGS standards for project close-outs and quality of final deliverables.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy and communicate recommendations to management.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required.
Experience in real estate, legal, land administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
Formal administrative experience preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment:
This position is based in the Fort Worth office with some flexibility. The role is primarily sedentary and involves extended computer use, desk work, and communication with colleagues and clients. Position Type and Hours:
Full-time, Monday through Friday, applicable to salaried and hourly employees. Occasional overtime, evening or weekend work, travel, or company events may be required based on business needs. Flexibility is essential.
Travel:
Occasional local or regional travel may be required, including travel to company field offices.
