Ulisses Raises €1.09 Million to Scale IoT and Smart Mobility Solutions
Italy-based IoT startup Ulisses has closed a €1.09 million seed funding round to accelerate the commercialization of its asset tracking and smart mobility technologies.
The funding was backed by ARGO Accelerator, MOST National Center for Sustainable Mobility, and a syndicate of more than 30 angel investors coordinated by Stefano Ceci. Additional investors include Gabriele Benedetto, Luca Palermo, Maurizio Tursini, and Teresa Trivisonno.
Advancing Smart Asset Tracking Technology
Founded by Pierfrancesco Alati, Ulisses develops energy-efficient IoT asset tracking systems powered by a European-patented 2.4 GHz low-power radio communication network. Its technology enables high-precision indoor and outdoor asset positioning across industrial and signal-constrained environments.
Supporting Expansion Across Europe
The company will use the new funding to transition its proprietary hardware platform from research and development to commercial deployment, expand into advanced European logistics markets, and scale its smart mobility software solutions.
Originally focused on digitizing marina operations, Ulisses has expanded its technology into railway monitoring, warehouse automation, and smart urban parking systems.
