NavigateAI, a San Francisco-based startup developing AI tools for field workers, has raised $25 million in funding.

The round was led by Elad Gil. Existing and new investors including Khosla Ventures, Lennar, Tishman Speyer, and Helix Electric also participated. Several angel investors joined the round, including Zach Frankel of Ramp, Dallas Tanner of Invitation Homes, Winston Weinberg of Harvey.ai, Jesse Zhang of Decagon, and Tony Xu of DoorDash.

The company said it will use the capital to scale operations and continue product development.

Founded to support field teams across industries such as construction, real estate, property management, and data center development, NavigateAI provides an AI-powered copilot platform designed for contractors, technicians, and tradespeople. Its customer base includes companies such as Lennar, Roofstock, AIM, and Tishman Speyer.

CEO Eric Wu said the platform is designed to help field workers access operational information, improve task execution, and reduce delays during on-site work.

AI Assistance for Field Teams

NavigateAI offers real-time AI guidance to help workers complete tasks more efficiently. The platform provides step-by-step instructions and contextual recommendations while work is being performed on-site.

The system also supports training and coaching for field staff. This allows companies to help workers follow operational standards without relying entirely on manual supervision.

Inspection and Quality Control Features

The platform includes AI-based inspection tools that use smartphone cameras and wearable devices to analyze physical work environments.

NavigateAI compares captured site data with local building codes, project specifications, and blueprints. As a result, teams can identify defects or compliance issues during the work process instead of waiting for final inspections.

Access to Technical Information

Workers can also use the platform as an on-demand knowledge base. The system allows users to search building regulations, manufacturer manuals, specification documents, and internal company workflows directly from the field.

This reduces the time spent searching through documents and helps teams access information more quickly.

Project Scoping and Site Documentation

NavigateAI also provides project scoping capabilities. The platform can generate work scopes, material estimates, and cost projections using data collected from job sites.

In addition, the company’s mobile application enables workers to record site videos and progress updates. The platform then processes the footage, organizes insights, and creates action items for managers and project leads through a centralized dashboard.
