The round was led by Felicis, with participation from Hedosophia, Menlo Ventures, Cantos, Flume Ventures, Qstar Capital, Friends & Family Capital, Anorak Ventures, and MVP Ventures.

Autonomous Defense Technology
Founded by CEO Phillip Walker, Heaviside develops autonomous precision systems designed to operate across air, land, and maritime environments, including situations where GPS signals may be unavailable or disrupted.
The company operates from Los Angeles and Oslo and has a team of more than 50 engineers and operators.
Manufacturing Partnership with Nammo
Alongside the funding announcement, Heaviside entered into a partnership with Norwegian defense manufacturer Nammo.
Under the agreement, Nammo will supply warheads for Heaviside's platforms and support the company's supply chain.
The partnership gives Heaviside access to an established manufacturing and supply network as it works to expand production and fulfill customer commitments.
A Rapidly Growing Defense Tech Market
Heaviside's latest valuation comes amid a broader surge in defense technology investment.
The company is entering a market that includes rapidly growing defense technology businesses such as Anduril and Stark, as investors continue to increase spending on autonomous systems, advanced manufacturing, and modern defense infrastructure.
