Entravel Raises $7.5 Million to Expand Travel Booking Platform

Entravel Group has raised $7.5 million in funding to expand its crypto-powered travel booking infrastructure into mainstream travel markets.

The round was co-led by Ethereal Ventures, chaired by Ethereum co-founder Joseph Lubin, and Finality Capital. GSR, Varrock, G1 Ventures, Seier Capital, Veris Ventures, Funfair Ventures, and WTG Ventures also participated.

Entravel provides travel booking technology for crypto exchanges and fintech platforms, powering more than 40 brands that collectively claim around 300 million users.

Building Travel Booking Infrastructure

Entravel's platform connects travel suppliers, hotel inventory, pricing, and booking capabilities so partners can offer travel services without building their own booking infrastructure.

The company operates three connected businesses.

MocatravelX works directly with hotels to secure rooms and negotiate rates. RateStellar combines hotel inventory from multiple sources and uses AI to match hotels and room types, providing access to more than 2.2 million hotels.

Entravel then provides a booking layer that partners can integrate into their own applications under their own brands.

Expanding Beyond Crypto

Entravel has historically worked with crypto exchanges and fintech companies, including platforms such as Kraken and MetaMask.

The company now plans to expand into traditional travel markets. It already works with Brands for Employees, a Swiss employee benefits platform serving more than 2,500 employers.

Entravel says its live white-label platforms achieve booking conversion rates above 10%, compared with an industry benchmark of approximately 1% to 3%.

AI and Travel Infrastructure

Entravel is also developing infrastructure that allows AI agents to connect directly with travel data and booking tools through the Model Context Protocol.

The company believes that as AI agents increasingly handle travel planning and transactions, the underlying booking infrastructure will become increasingly important.

Funding to Support Expansion

Entravel plans to use the new funding to expand supplier credit, increase booking volumes, enter traditional travel markets, and develop a stablecoin-based financial system for settlement, treasury, and working capital.

The company aims to combine hotel supply, booking infrastructure, and financial settlement within a single platform.

Whether Entravel can successfully translate its crypto-focused infrastructure into the broader travel market remains to be proven.
