Bengaluru-based fleet management platform Carrum Mobility has raised $10 million in Series B funding led by Uber, marking the ride-hailing giant's second investment in the company within a year.

Uber had previously invested $7 million in Carrum Mobility in January 2026. The latest round brings another significant capital infusion as the startup looks to expand its operations, strengthen its technology and enter additional markets.

Building technology for CNG and EV fleets

Founded in 2024 by Karan Jain, Carrum Mobility provides fleet management solutions for CNG and electric vehicles.

Its platform uses technology and data to manage fleet utilisation and driver operations, helping mobility operators improve the efficiency of vehicles and their driver networks.

The company says its business has nearly doubled since Uber's first investment in January, driven by growing demand for premium mobility services.

5,000+ vehicles across major cities

Carrum Mobility claims to operate more than 5,000 vehicles across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Kolkata as of September 2026.

The platform also works with more than 18,000 driver partners, while its Chennai operations are expected to begin in September.

The startup says it has been profitable since its first month of operations and has reached an annualised revenue run rate of approximately Rs 400 crore within around two years of starting operations.

Uber doubles down on fleet infrastructure

The latest investment strengthens Uber's relationship with Carrum Mobility and highlights the growing importance of organised fleet operators within India's ride-hailing ecosystem.

Carrum Mobility is also competing in a market where Uber has backed other fleet businesses. Everest Fleet, another Uber-backed fleet operator, received a $20 million investment from Uber in November 2025, following a $30 million investment in September 2024.

The investments underline Uber's continued interest in building a stronger supply-side ecosystem around professional fleet operators.

Funding to fuel expansion

Carrum Mobility plans to use the $10 million Series B funding to expand into existing and new geographies, strengthen its technology platform and scale operations.

With thousands of vehicles already under management, a large driver network and a claimed Rs 400 crore annualised revenue run rate, Carrum is positioning itself as a major technology-enabled fleet operator in India's rapidly evolving mobility market.
