Atlas Motion Secures $11.5 Million in Funding
Atlas Motion, a Long Beach, California-based developer of high-performance electric motors and actuators for defense platforms, has raised $11.5 million in funding after emerging from stealth.
The round was led by Greycroft, with participation from Also Capital, Enea Capital, Mana Ventures, Sunflower Capital, Ravelin, and defense-focused angel investors.
Founded by Christian Mochen (CEO), Tom Baron, and Carlo Dela Rosa (COO), the company develops Brushless DC (BLDC) motors and high-power-density actuators designed for scalable production.
Atlas Motion designs and prototypes its systems in the U.S. while manufacturing at scale in the Philippines.
The funding will be used to open a second manufacturing facility in the Philippines, expand its workforce, develop its “Vector” AI production orchestration software, and establish a dedicated U.S. facility for defense customers.
