Complex Hotel Operations Manager

Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department and Front Desk department within a hospitality establishment, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and organization. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing exceptional service. The Operations Manager will manage a team of housekeeping staff, implement cleaning protocols, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies. Will also oversee all Front Desk staff and responsibilites

Duties

• Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness throughout the facility.

• Develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures in line with industry standards.

• Train, mentor, and evaluate housekeeping staff to promote effective performance and professional growth.

• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness standards.

• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order supplies as needed while maintaining budgetary constraints.

• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.

• Address guest inquiries or complaints regarding cleanliness in a timely and professional manner.

• Stay updated on industry trends related to hospitality, hotel management, industrial cleaning, custodial services, floor care, and housekeeping management.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or hotel industry.

• Strong knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and custodial practices.

• Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Ability to lead a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment.

• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and staff professionally.

• Familiarity with floor care techniques and equipment maintenance is preferred.

• Flexibility to work various shifts as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
