Role overview

Summary

This role involves managing large project implementations for S&P Global's KYC services, requiring significant client service effort and customization. The Associate will be responsible for KYC onboarding, remediation, screening, and ensuring compliance with quality and productivity standards.

S&P Global is seeking a Customer Excellence Analyst to support customer onboarding and implementation projects for its Third-Party Risk Management and KYC services. Working closely with Product, Solutions, and Engineering teams, this role ensures successful customer implementations while delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end customer onboarding and implementation projects.

  • Perform KYC onboarding, remediation, risk assessments, client outreach, and screening activities.

  • Review and disposition screening alerts for clients and related parties.

  • Analyze complex global entity structures, including Corporations, Banks, Trusts, Funds, LLCs, Partnerships, SPVs, and NBFIs.

  • Review legal and corporate documents (e.g., LLC Agreements, Limited Partnership Agreements, Private Placement Memorandums) to extract relevant information.

  • Conduct research using public sources and KYC screening platforms such as World-Check, LexisNexis, Accuity, and Quantified.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and confidentiality standards.

  • Manage priorities, escalate risks when needed, and meet quality and productivity targets.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.

  • Support process improvements and participate in regulatory and compliance training.

  • Maintain strong documentation and reporting using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Be available to work UK and US shifts and progress toward Quality Assurance responsibilities within six months.

Qualifications

Required

  • 0–1 year of experience in Corporate KYC, AML Compliance, or related financial services.

  • Understanding of KYC onboarding, remediation, screening, and risk assessment processes.

  • Knowledge of various business entity types and ownership structures.

  • Familiarity with KYC/sanctions screening tools such as World-Check, LexisNexis, Accuity, or similar platforms.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
