Role overview

Summary

The NATA Trainee will actively participate in process training to gain subject matter expertise, assess client requests, and follow departmental policies and procedures. This role involves taking ownership of assigned work, continuously learning from feedback, and collaborating with team members to contribute to team goals and process improvement initiatives.

Your Role

  • Actively participate in process training to gain subject matter expertise and proactively seek clarification when required.

  • Assess client requests, refer to departmental guides, research applicable procedures, and determine appropriate processing steps.

  • Follow departmental policies and procedures while completing assigned work.

  • Take complete ownership and accountability for assigned work, keeping management informed of critical matters while acting in the client's best interest.

  • Adhere to and exceed quality, productivity, and efficiency metrics defined by the department.

  • Continuously learn from feedback and apply improvements to enhance quality and reduce errors.

  • Upskill on newer work types as scheduled and embrace ongoing development opportunities.

  • Work collaboratively with team members, management, trainers, coordinators, and onshore partners.

  • Contribute constructively to team goals, daily MDIs, process improvement initiatives, and departmental projects.

  • Actively participate in team and department initiatives and support a culture of continuous improvement.

What we look for

  • Basic understanding of the mutual fund industry and mutual fund terminology is a plus.

  • Financial services knowledge good to have.

  • Work experience/knowledge in customer service environment is added advantage.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and take ownership of self-development.

  • Ability to make quick decisions, establish priorities, and focus on detailed information under pressure.

  • Strong reasoning and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with minimal supervision.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work within established deadlines.

  • Proficiency with keyboarding and computer fundamentals in a Windows environment.

  • Basic mathematical skills.

Academic Requirements

  • MBA Finance (2025 & 2026 Batch)

  • 50% or equivalent CGPA/CQPI throughout 10th, 12th or Diploma, UG course
