Role overview
Summary
The Analyst, Real Estate will support senior team members in the origination, structuring, and execution of corporate and non-recourse structured commercial real estate financing transactions. This role involves financial modelling, credit submission, documentation, and portfolio monitoring, alongside contributing to market insights and sector strategy.
The APAC Real Estate team is looking for a highly motivated, team player with strong corporate and non-recourse structured finance skills to support the growing Real Estate financing activity across Corporates, public and private real estate funds and financial sponsor clients.
Job Responsibilities:
Support senior members of the team in deal origination, structuring and execution of corporate and non-recourse structured commercial real estate financing transactions in the region including financial modelling, credit submission, documentation and portfolio monitoring.
Contribute to real estate market updates/insights, and assist in driving sector strategy within the bank.
Support coverage and product teams in engaging with senior members of the clients to position MUFG as a lead bank in the sector.
Work closely with our global partners to facilitate information sharing and idea generation. Ensure that we effectively leverage on our global network to deliver the best solutions and practices to our clients
Job Requirements:
Educational qualification
Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
Minimum 1 year’ experience in corporate finance or leverage finance as an analyst at a bank.
Functional/Technical Skills and Knowledge:
Highly driven and responsible, with demonstrated ability to manage conflicting priorities and requests.
Highest standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in financial analysis/modelling technical capabilities and due diligence analysis.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
