Whale Secures $40M in Series C3 Extension to Advance Enterprise AI Platform

Whale, an enterprise AI company based in San Francisco, has raised $40 million in a Series C3 extension round. The investment increases the company's total Series C funding to $100 million.

The funding round was led by CMB International and SMBC Asia Rising Fund. Existing and new investors, including Krungsri Finnovate, Singtel Innov8, Hyundai Motor Group, Charisma Partners, Bosch Ventures, MTR Lab, MDI Ventures, Gentree Fund, and Linear Capital, also participated.

Funding to Support Product Development

Whale plans to use the fresh capital to expand its operations and accelerate product development. The company continues to strengthen its enterprise AI offerings for businesses that manage complex physical operations.

AI Operating System for Enterprise Operations

Founded by CEO Jerry Ye, Whale develops an AI operating system designed for enterprise operations. Its platform combines multiple AI products that help businesses manage data, automate workflows, and improve operational decision-making.

The company's product portfolio includes SpaceSight for physical space intelligence, Echo for speech and audio intelligence, Lume for content distribution, Alivia for workflow automation, Harbor for knowledge management and compliance, and Novus for AI infrastructure and governance.

Business World Model Powers the Platform

These products are built on Whale's proprietary Business World Model (BWM). The model is designed to understand and manage real-world business environments, similar to how large language models process and understand text.

As a result, the platform connects physical data with AI-driven automation. It supports industries such as retail, automotive, food and beverage, manufacturing, financial services, healthcare, and fashion.
