Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group Secures $40 Million for Global Expansion
Hyderabad-based Raghu Vamsi Aerospace Group (RVAG) has raised $40 million in a funding round led by Norwest and Skegen Asset Management, with participation from Indus Bridge Ventures, GJNX Ventures, and Ashish Kacholia.
The funding will support the company's global expansion strategy, including increasing manufacturing capacity across its facilities in India, the United Kingdom, and the United States.
Expanding Aerospace and Defence Capabilities
Led by CEO Siva Arvinth, RVAG manufactures precision-engineered aerospace and defence components for global original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), including GE Aerospace, Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell, Safran, and Collins Aerospace.
The company also continues to expand its Mission Systems and Deep-Tech & Autonomous Systems businesses.
Investment to Strengthen Manufacturing Infrastructure
The fresh capital will also accelerate the development of RVAG's upcoming integrated manufacturing campus at Hardware Park near Hyderabad International Airport.
With more than 1,200 employees and over 10 facilities across India, the UK, and the U.S., the company collaborates with leading academic institutions and defence organizations, including IITs, IIITs, ARCI, ADA, and DRDO, to advance aerospace and defence technologies.
