Cardinal Data Power Receives $20 Million Investment

Dallas-based infrastructure company Cardinal Data Power has received a $20 million investment from Empery Digital to support the development of AI-ready data center infrastructure.

The investment forms part of an approximately $70 million Series A financing led by Hood River Capital Management.

Cardinal Data Power develops large-scale powered data center campuses designed to support artificial intelligence and high-performance computing workloads.

Building Energy Infrastructure for AI Data Centers

The company's platform combines secured power generation equipment, natural gas supply, proprietary pipeline capacity, electrical infrastructure, and strategically located land to deliver reliable power for large-scale data center developments.

Its infrastructure is designed to accelerate deployment timelines while meeting the growing energy demands of AI and computing tenants.

Supporting West Texas Expansion

The newly announced investment from Empery Digital will be used to support the company's inaugural 750-megawatt Phase I data center campus in West Texas.

The project represents Cardinal Data Power's first major development as demand for AI infrastructure and high-capacity data centers continues to expand.
