Overview
Intuit Credit Karma is a mission-driven company, focused on championing financial progress for our more than 140 million members globally. While we're best known for pioneering free credit scores, our members turn to us for everything related to their financial goals, including identity monitoring, applying for credit cards, shopping for insurance and loans (car, home and personal) and savings accounts and checking accounts* – all for free. Credit Karma has grown significantly through the years: we now have more than 1,700 employees across our offices in Oakland, Charlotte, Culver City, San Diego, London, Bangalore, and New York City.
Intuit Credit Karma, Consumer Group is looking for a Staff Product Manager to help define and scale the AI-powered experiences that help millions of members make smarter financial decisions, both inside Credit Karma and across the AI platforms and agents where members increasingly start. This role sits at the intersection of product, applied AI, and platform strategy. It requires strong product judgment, deep systems thinking, and comfort operating in a space that changes month to month.
You will own the strategy and roadmap for a major area of our AI work, lead cross-functional teams from idea to launch, and work with internal and external partners to turn fast-moving AI capabilities into trustworthy, high-impact member experiences. You will present your area's strategy and results to senior leadership across Credit Karma and Intuit.
-
Banking services provided by MVB Bank, Inc., Member FDIC
Responsibilities
What you'll do
-
Own the product strategy for your area. Define and champion a 12 to 18 month vision for AI-powered member experiences, grounded in the member problem and the business plan. You are the visible owner of where your area is headed, not only how it gets there.
-
Turn AI capabilities into products members trust. Translate evolving AI capabilities, including assistants, agents and agent-callable experiences, into simple, trustworthy products, in the Credit Karma app and wherever members use AI.
-
Drive the roadmap from conception to launch. Write clear business cases, requirements and success metrics, prioritize on member need, business impact and feasibility, and ship at a steady cadence while shaping the long-term strategy.
-
Build with partners. Work with internal teams and external partners, including AI platforms, to bring Credit Karma's experiences to members wherever they are. Set the agenda, surface trade-offs early, and turn partner conversations into shipped products.
-
Set the quality bar. Establish and evolve evaluation frameworks for quality, accuracy, trust, safety and member impact in AI-driven systems.
-
Partner deeply with Engineering and Data Science. Inform system design, model selection, experimentation strategy and platform scalability, and make sure AI capabilities are reusable across products.
-
Champion responsible AI. Make sure experiences are transparent, reliable and aligned with member trust and regulatory expectations, working closely with Legal, Privacy, Security and Compliance.
-
Own the outcomes. Monitor product health and performance, and proactively find ways to improve quality, engagement and business impact.
-
Be a visible leader. Communicate strategy, trade-offs and progress clearly to senior and executive leadership, and raise the bar for product craft on the team around you.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
-
Experienced product leader: 8+ years of experience building and scaling consumer technology products, including leading a product area end to end.
-
AI builder: You have shipped AI/ML or LLM-powered products, and you understand how models and agents work in practice: tool use, connectors, evaluation, and the limits of today's models.
-
Strategic and hands-on: You can write and defend a multi-year strategy and go deep on an eval readout, a system design or a spec.
-
Comfortable in ambiguity: A track record of leading in emerging, 0 1 spaces and bringing clarity and structure to complex problems.
-
Systems thinker: You design capabilities that power multiple products and experiences, not one-off features.
-
Owns the outcome: You have carried a quality, growth or business target and delivered it through a sustained cadence of launches.
-
Cross-functional operator: You build strong relationships with Engineering, Design, Data Science and partner teams, and influence without direct authority.
-
Exceptional communicator: You influence senior leadership, and you bring a point of view rather than deferring to the room.
What we'd love to see
-
Experience building products that ship on, or integrate with, other platforms, such as AI assistants, app ecosystems, developer platforms or large partner integrations.
-
Experience working directly with external partners on product and commercial terms.
-
Experience in consumer fintech or another regulated industry, including consent and privacy questions.
-
Hands-on fluency with AI tools in your own work: research, prototyping, specs and analysis.
-
A deep appreciation for how consumer finance, and now AI, can meaningfully improve people's lives.
