Product Manager — GOS Implementation, Grün Uluwatu

Product Manager — GOS Implementation, Grün Uluwatu

Company: Grün Resorts

Location: Uluwatu, Bali — on-site, full-time

Level: Mid-level (3–5 years)

About us

Grün Uluwatu is a boutique treehouse resort in Uluwatu, and we build the software that runs it ourselves. GOS, the Grün Operating System, is our own platform for running the hotel: one record per guest, per space and per team member. We use AI where language and judgement are needed and plain, dependable code everywhere else.

GOS is already live at the front office and guest relations. Housekeeping, engineering and F&B are next. Building the system is one job. Getting a whole resort to run on it, every shift and every department, is another. That second job is this role.

The role

You're the product owner on the ground at Uluwatu. You take what the build team ships and make it the way the resort works, one department and one shift at a time, until nobody would go back. You also take what the floor teaches you back to the build team as clear requirements they can act on.

How you'll be judged

On the resort's results, not on logins. Our north star is reviews and profit, so your main numbers are guest review scores and onsite spend per guest-night at Uluwatu. You'll track usage and data quality every day, but they're how you get there, not the score.

What you'll do

  • Run the rollout. Plan and lead go-live for each department: training, SOPs, first-week support on the floor, and follow-up until it sticks.
  • Start from what already exists. Most departments already do some version of what GOS asks, like a supervisor's spot-check or a notebook by the plant room. Find it, tighten it and move it into the system.
  • Own data quality at the source. Every stay needs a named owner, every review a reservation number, every record a property. If the data going in is wrong, every board built on it is wrong.
  • Run the daily performance boards. Every department has a scorecard that rolls up to the same resort targets. Make sure the numbers are right, the teams understand them, and the morning conversation happens around them.
  • Be the voice of the floor to the build team. Shadow shifts, spot the workarounds people have invented, and turn them into specs with clear acceptance criteria. Treat new requests as features on what we already have, not new apps.
  • Connect the pieces. Work with the GM, heads of department, the engineering manager and the build team so front office, housekeeping, engineering and F&B all run on one system and one set of numbers.
  • Use AI as a working tool for training material, specs, data questions and quick prototypes.

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years in product, operations or rolling out systems, ideally software for frontline teams (hospitality, retail, logistics, healthcare or similar).
  • You've seen a rollout stall because people didn't use it, and you know why. You can train a room stylist in the morning and argue a data model with an engineer in the afternoon.
  • Good with numbers and comfortable with technical detail: data models, APIs and dashboards. SQL, or ready to learn it fast.
  • Organised and clear. You write short, unambiguous SOPs and specs.
  • Credible with frontline teams: patient, present, and on the floor rather than behind a laptop.
  • AI-native: you already use AI every day and know where it helps and where it doesn't.
  • Fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia. Most of the team you'll train works in Bahasa.
  • Based in Bali or ready to move. This role is on property at Uluwatu.

Hospitality experience is a plus, not a requirement.

What you get

  • Ownership of a live system in a real resort, with the results visible every morning.
  • A short line to decisions, with no layers between you and the roadmap.
  • A product being built from scratch, with AI in production rather than in a pitch deck.
  • The chance to build the playbook we'll take to Canggu, Ubud and the properties that come next, based on what you prove at Uluwatu.

How to apply

Send your CV and a short answer to one question:

Tell us about a tool or process you got a frontline team to actually use. What did they do before, what made them switch, and how did you know it had stuck?

Two paragraphs is plenty. We read every one.
