An Atrium Assistant Property Manager serves as a primary point of contact for residents, driving community growth and supporting the Property Manager. This role involves managing daily operations, processing leases, coordinating move-ins/outs, and executing marketing efforts to achieve occupancy and resident retention goals. Strong customer service, teamwork, and attention to detail are essential for success.

About the Role

The Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in managing the community, serving current and prospective residents, and helping drive growth in the Atlanta market. The role focuses on leasing, customer service, resident retention, occupancy, and daily property operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain strong knowledge of the apartment community and local competition

- Manage daily traffic and phone logs, lead follow-up, and prospect tracking

- Greet prospects, conduct property tours, and identify customer needs

- Present amenities, apartment homes, pricing, and close leases

- Process lease applications and credit verifications

- Prepare lease documentation and conduct lease signings

- Coordinate move-ins, move-outs, transfers, and lease renewals

- Maintain occupancy and minimize vacancy loss

- Generate prospect traffic through outreach, resident referrals, marketing, and property tours

- Monitor competitors and assist with leasing reports and sales and marketing plans

- Support Property Manager in achieving occupancy and net operating income goals

- Follow all applicable Fair Housing laws and company policies

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum 6 months of leasing or Assistant Property Manager experience preferred

- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license

- Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

What We're Looking For

- Customer service or sales experience, preferably in real estate

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong attention to detail and organizational ability

- Adaptable, dependable, resourceful, and self-disciplined

- Goal-driven with a strong work ethic

- Experience with property management software such as AppFolio, Yardi, or Knock preferred

- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, email, Gmail/Google Workspace, and social media for community marketing

- Positive, energetic attitude and a passion for working with people

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while working independently when needed
