Summary
The EQD Trade Support Associate ensures the accuracy of transactions initiated by trading post-execution, acting as a crucial link between various teams like Front Office, Back Office, and IT. This role is instrumental in transforming the post-execution chain into a more secure, harmonized, and industrialized platform, aiming to enhance efficiency and mitigate operational risks while ensuring client satisfaction.
About Business line/Function: Product Control is part of COCE (Client Operating Centre of Excellence), performing multiple Middle Office functions. Product Control have 6 verticals - P&L and Valuation Controls, OTC Trade Validation, Securities Trade Validation & Documentation, OTC Documentation, Trading & Portfolio Control and Position Management. Team works very closely with Trading, Sales, Business Managers and various FtB teams like Back Office, Regional Finance and COO community
Position Purpose: The EQD trade support is one of the main contributor of the bank in term of ensuring the accuracy of the transaction initiated by the trading after their execution. In his very specific position in the operation chain the trade support will liaise with several teams such as FO, documentation, settlement BO, collateral, PnL reporting factory, anti-fraud, compliance, IT, accounting etc
Our mandate is to transform the post execution chain into a safer process with a harmonized and industrialized platform by increasing efficiency and reducing the operation risk. Our mandate is also driven by the satisfactory of our external and internal clients

Production management:
Organization of the team
monitoring,
KPIs generation,
Procedures for Trade Support scope
Main point of contact for the Business and Operations on new initiatives, structures, projects, production issues and incidents.
Follow up on projects and new business initiative, audit and transformation initiatives related to the Trade Support
Follow up on the new controls to put in place on the FO business initiatives and their materialization under clear writing procedure and Orus daily control and sign off
Builds a diverse and competent team able to meet the challenges of supporting a complex and very specific growing business.
Contributes to recruitment, retention and development of staff
Undertakes the appraisal process and recommendation for compensation of staff
Ensures high levels of ethics and professionalism are maintained both personally and in the team.
Monitor closely your team performance by setting up frequent reviews, clear objectives and expectations and follow up on results.
Use your managerial skills to lead the team towards the top and ensure a strong and stable work environment.
Plan delegation by identifying tasks, which can be delegated according to the team member skillset.
Set up clear objectives for your team and follow up on them. Prioritise production and projects according to your team capacity to maximise productivity and minimise risks.
Provide your team with constructive feedback when needed to avoid conflicts and issues within the team.
Organise cross training within your team and across trade support when relevant.
Strong appreciation and value of STP and of IT solutions to reduce processing and improve controls
Technical & Behavioral Competencies
Expert in equity derivatives products, systems and business domain
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Excellent IT skills including Excel and PowerPoint
Positive and dynamic attitude to complying with deadlines and objectives.
High degree of interest in product and process issues affecting the department.
Broad experience working in control functions within an investment bank
Good experience in project management as the person will be requested to manage or coordinate projects
Good written and oral communication skills
Control oriented mind set
Communications ability to communicate effectively within the team and Front Office
Collaboration ability to work well with others especially in day to day resolution and escalation of issues
