Morgan Properties is seeking a reliable and ambitious Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property. If you have strong communication skills, customer service experience, and a passion for property management, we’d love to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:

Leasing, Collections & Resident Services:

  • Assist with apartment rentals, move-ins, lease renewals, resident insurance, and security deposit refunds.

  • Follow up on delinquent accounts, collect payments, and assist with the eviction process, including required documentation and court hearings when needed.

  • Schedule appointments for prospects and residents and support leasing and marketing activities.

  • Maintain accurate resident records, including account information, lease dates, charges, and credits.

  • Document resident correspondence and assist with rental eligibility verification.

  • Address resident concerns promptly and support resident retention initiatives.

Managerial & Staff Support:

  • Support the Property Manager with daily operations and assume managerial responsibilities in their absence as directed.

  • Assist with monthly reports related to renewals, rents, leasing, resident retention, and maintenance.

  • Help train and coach office staff as directed.

  • Attend staff meetings and take meeting minutes when required.

  • Assist with payment processing, purchase orders, and other administrative duties.

  • Assist with property-related tasks and ensure assigned work is completed.

Vendor & Lease Oversight:

  • Build and maintain positive vendor relationships.

  • Review vendor invoices and statements for accuracy and proper processing.

  • Assist with lease and renewal processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Maintain renewal records and support leasing follow-up and marketing efforts.

Compliance:

  • Follow all applicable federal and state Fair Housing Laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree (A.S. or A.A.) from a two-year college or university, or 2–3 years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Previous property management experience or managerial experience in sales or customer service preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and auto insurance may be required for travel between properties.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.

  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records.

  • $21.00–$24.00/hour base pay

  • 20% rent discount

Compensation may vary based on geographic location, skills, education, and experience and may result in total compensation outside the listed range.
