Role overview

Summary

An apprentice will receive training in specific functions, particularly in Accounts Payable and Travel Expenses. Under supervision, they will learn concepts, tools, and apply theoretical knowledge to process invoices, manage reimbursements, and perform account reconciliations.

POSITION SUMMARY

An apprentice is a fresh graduate who will be provided training on specific functions. Under the supervision of a team leader, he/she is expected to be well-versed in concepts, understand the use of tools, and apply theoretical knowledge in practice.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Understand the basics of Accounts Payable and Travel Expenses Process.

  • Understand processes through training and detailed instructions.

  • Apply training knowledge through tools and techniques in processes.

  • Gain operational knowledge of systems and Microsoft tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Identify operational issues and notify seniors.

  • Process, verify, account for, and make payments for vendor invoices and employee reimbursements.

  • Perform account reconciliations and address vendor enquiries.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

  • Good accounting knowledge

  • Well-versed in MS Office software

  • Knowledge of Tally, GST, SEZ, and TDS compliance.

  • Assist seniors in the team with month-end activities and audits.

  • Cross-cultural work experience

  • Ability to work in a matrix organization

  • Effective Written and verbal communication

QUALIFICATIONS

2025–2026 pass-out with a minimum 60% aggregate in a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Commerce, Administration, or Management.

Candidates should be comfortable learning and applying these tools, evaluating AI-generated output with sound judgment, and using AI in line with company policy and ethical standards.
