Role overview
Summary
The intern will advocate for WWF India's conservation mission in public spaces, securing individual donor support and educating the public on environmental projects. This role involves building donor relationships, applying fundraising techniques, and representing the brand with integrity in a target-driven environment.
Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:
Advocate for WWF India's conservation mission in high-traffic public spaces and secure individual donor support.
Educate the public about ongoing environmental projects, wildlife conservation, and organizational values through engaging face-to-face conversations.
Build and strengthen donor relationships to encourage long-term financial support for the cause.
Learn and apply field systems, fundraising techniques, and pitch strategies by actively participating in training sessions.
Represent the WWF India brand with factual accuracy, professionalism, and integrity while interacting with the public.
Contribute to team morale, collaborate with leadership, and help maintain a positive and supportive work environment.
Demonstrate strong verbal communication and the ability to engage and persuade diverse audiences.
Work effectively in a high-energy, target-driven environment with resilience, teamwork, and a genuine passion for nature.
