Summary
This role involves supporting the Corporate Real Estate Management (CREM) Business Unit in financial analysis, expense reporting, and strategic decision-making. The Chief Manager/AVP will ensure control, accuracy, and timely delivery of financial results, perform comparative analysis, and provide guidance on budget vs. actuals.
Title: Chief Manager/AVP - Financials, CRE
Function: The Function reports into National Manager- Financials, CRE. Proactively supporting CREM Business Unit in tactical and strategic decision for Expense being managed by the Dept. The Department Financial MIS, process and provide inputs to BH. Work with numbers and a CA preferred. This position attract individual, who are motivated by working and winning with the team seeing challenges as an opportunity for personal development.
Purpose of the role: Expense reporting for CREM managed expenses across bank, thereby ensuring control, accuracy, predictability and timely delivery of results, comparative analysis and support Zones. Validation of vouchers/approvals in system. Understand business/environmental drivers of actual results and forecast. Ensure financial dept. Budget vs Actuals guidance to business on the expenses managed by CREM - strategically capture, estimate and communicate BH impacting events. Anticipate changes, seek better practices and contribute to the company as a while to be successful in its aims.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage and support CREM expenses, reporting, ensuring control, accuracy and predictability and timely delivery of figures, analysis and comments.
CREM management expenses MIS and Expense Provisions.
Support CREM in pursuit financial (expenses) targets through in-depth analysis and sharing of financial knowledge.
Actively ensure compliance and Audits. (Internal and External)
Support preparation of Quarterly/half yearly and yearly budget reviews.
Support the enhancement and compliance of Business related process.
Minimum Wages for CREM expenses time to time.
Special Projects/Initiatives.
Basic requirements/capabilities:
Education: Chartered Accounts with 8-10 yrs. of experience.
Hands on Experience in Power BI is a must.
Analytical Thinking - ability to formulate and understand department issues, situations or problems by breaking them down into smaller parts and analyze them. Interpret data and draw conclusions and provide focused guidance.
Customer service - Aim to exceed CREM support requirements and expectations. Have strong customer focus and creates value.
Initiative and responsibility - Willingness to act pro-actively by identifying opportunities and anticipate changes.
IT skills - Strong systems experience and excellent proficiency in Excel.
First experience gained in reporting/financial systems (such as Oracle are welcome).
