Summary
The FP&A Analyst will join a global FP&A Centre of Excellence, focusing on financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. This entry-level, full-time role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and a solid understanding of financial statements to support month-end reporting, prepare leadership presentations, and maintain financial models.
Overview
We are looking to hire FP&A Analyst who will be part of global FP&A Centre of Excellence that delivers high quality, insight driven financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytical services to Group and Unit FP&A.
The FP&A Analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, performance reporting, and business decision support. This role is ideal for a newly qualified CA or an MBA (Finance) graduate who is strong with numbers, comfortable with large datasets, and eager to learn how finance partners with business teams drive growth and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Support month-end MIS/management reporting: revenue, cost, gross margin, OPEX, and KPI dashboards.
Assist in preparing leadership presentations and finance decks with clear storylines
Assist in preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range plans.
Perform variance analysis (budget vs actuals, forecast vs actuals) and provide insights and commentary.
Help build and maintain financial models (scenario analysis, sensitivity analysis, what-if analysis).
Partner with business stakeholders to collect inputs, validate assumptions, and track key initiatives.
Maintain and improve reporting templates; automate recurring reports using Excel/Power Query (or similar tools).
Ensure data accuracy through reconciliation checks and documentation of definitions/assumptions.
Support ad-hoc analyses requested by Finance leadership and business teams.
Qualifications
CA (recently qualified) or MBA (Finance) / PGDM (Finance) from a recognized institute.
Strong understanding of financial statements, P&L drivers, and basic corporate finance concepts.
Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, charts; Power Query/Power Pivot preferred).
Working knowledge of PowerPoint for business presentations.
Exposure to ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle/Netsuite/Tally) is a plus.

Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate analysis into actionable insights.
Strong communication skills—comfortable interacting with cross-functional teams.
Structured thinking and problem-solving; ability to work with ambiguity.
Time management and ability to handle recurring cycles (monthly reporting) alongside ad-hoc requests.
High integrity and confidentiality while handling financial and business information.
