Summary
The Junior Appraisal Coordinator is responsible for managing and prioritizing appraisal orders for all loan types on the retail platform. This role involves submitting requests, processing payments, maintaining workflow efficiency, and communicating with appraisers, AMCs, and internal departments to ensure timely fulfillment and accurate information.
Position Overview:
The Junior Appraisal Coordinator is responsible for the order placement and fulfillment of appraisal orders on the retail platform for all loan types. This position maintains accurate communication to the origination and processing departments.
This position operates within Pacific Standard Time Zone working hours to support the West Coast region.
Job Responsibilities:
Manage and prioritize caseload of appraisal orders.
Assist with ordering appraisals by submitting a request through Mercury Network to be assigned to a qualified appraiser within established time frames.
Maintain workflow efficiency through Encompass and Mercury Network.
Process payments according to company and department policies and processes.
Maintain reports to track appraisal assignments from order date through final completion.
Maintain communication with appraisers and AMCs through Encompass and Mercury Network.
Reply to customer emails, confirming the scheduling of appointments.
Assist Processors, Underwriters, Loan Officers and Loan Processors in tasks associated with the appraisal ordering and management of conditions.
Communicate and explain the progress of products and services to customers through working collaboratively with our vendors.
Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience with FHA and VA appraisal order placement.
Appraisal knowledge, preferred.
Knowledge of industry standard computer programs.
Excellent prioritization and time management skills.
Excellent analytical skills.
Excellent communications skills.
