Role overview
Summary
Perform end-to-end AML investigations for customers across Retail Banking and/or Crypto workflows, utilizing internal systems, third-party tools, and open-source research. Prepare clear, concise case narrations, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with AML policies and regulatory requirements, while meeting productivity and quality targets.
What You Will Do:
Perform end-to-end AML investigations reviews for customers across Retail Banking and/or Crypto workflows.
Utilize internal systems, third-party tools, and open-source research to gather relevant information and form risk-based conclusions.
Prepare clear, concise, and well-supported case narrations outlining risk indicators, review findings, and rationale for decisions.
Ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with AML policies, client guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Meet defined productivity, quality, and SLA targets while maintaining high attention to detail.
Proactively identify discrepancies or potential risks and escalate as required.
Collaborate effectively with team members, SMEs, and support functions to resolve queries and align on process expectations.
Support team goals and deliverables, contributing to a high-performance and quality-driven work environment.
Demonstrate flexibility to adapt to new processes, tools, and workflow changes as per project requirements.
What You Will Need:
Consistently high-performing Associates who have demonstrated strong ownership and delivery in their current role.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quality and productivity benchmarks over a sustained period.
Strong hands-on experience in AML processes, with the ability to independently manage end-to-end case investigations.
Demonstrated analytical and investigative skills, with sound judgment in identifying suspicious activities and risk indicators.
Ability to deliver accurate and high-quality case outputs with minimal supervision, showing strong accountability.
Good written and verbal communication skills, including:
Clear case documentation and narration
Effective internal team communication
Strong process adherence mindset, with attention to detail and commitment to compliance standards.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage volumes efficiently, and meet deadlines consistently.
Positive attitude towards continuous learning, feedback, and performance improvement.
Willingness to take ownership of work and contribute actively to team success.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Exposure to Crypto/ AML / Experience
Basic experience in supporting peers (informal mentoring, buddy support, or knowledge sharing).
Understanding of global AML regulations and frameworks (FATF guidelines, sanctions regimes, etc.).
Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools for tracking performance and managing workload.
