As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will guide buyers through the home buying process, educating them on products, setting appointments, and closing sales. Position Overview
Commission-based role
As a New Home Sales Consultant, you will guide customers through the homebuying process, making it approachable and rewarding. You will follow the Starlight Homes sales process, deliver exceptional service, and contribute to a collaborative, growth-focused team. The role includes four weeks of award-winning training.

Responsibilities

Drive Sales Process

  • Deliver excellent customer service via inbound calls, educating prospects, answering questions, and setting appointments.

  • Conduct effective sales presentations aligned with company training.

  • Maintain high activity levels: prospect engagement, follow-ups, and closing appointments.

  • Respond promptly to inquiries and maintain communication with team members.

  • Participate in weekly meetings and provide updates to the Sales Manager.

  • Track leads, appointments, and communications in Salesforce daily.

  • Convert leads into customers and consistently follow up with clients under contract.

  • Build relationships with realtors through networking and outreach.

  • Generate referrals through strong customer satisfaction.

Other Responsibilities

  • Represent Starlight Homes professionally and knowledgeably.

  • Act as an expert on the homebuilding process and guide clients accordingly.

  • Stay informed on community details (schools, taxes, amenities, etc.).

  • Align customer needs with suitable home options.

  • Continuously improve sales skills through training.

  • Maintain regular communication with clients (pre-application, post-sale, and weekly follow-ups).

  • Respond to internal communications within 24 hours.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of sales or customer service experience.

  • Real estate license may be required (state-dependent).

  • Valid driver’s license required.

  • Ability to work weekends with scheduled days off.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new tools.

  • Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork skills.

  • Adaptability, organization, and ability to manage high-volume workloads.

Physical & Working Conditions

  • Ability to read, write, speak English, and perform basic calculations.

  • Use standard office equipment; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.

  • Primarily office-based, with some standing and walking.

  • Fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
