Summary

This role is for an experienced Real Estate Transaction Tax Manager within a prestigious international advisory group. The manager will lead complex UK and international real estate transactions, working with a diverse client base and collaborating with senior leadership on proposals and risk management. Key responsibilities include project delivery, coaching junior colleagues, and building strong client relationships.

Our client, a prestigious international advisory group, is seeking an experienced Real Estate Transaction Tax Manager to join a market leading team. The role offers consistent exposure to complex transactions in the UK and internationally, with a diverse client base that includes global investors, private funds, institutions, pension vehicles, and listed structures.


The successful individual will work closely with a respected deals practice on projects spanning business restructuring, real assets, credit strategies, mergers and acquisitions, financing, and disposals. The work is varied, intellectually challenging, and offers clear long term progression within a supportive environment that values collaboration, quality, and continual development.


Key responsibilities

  • Lead as the primary deal manager, shaping scope, content, tone, and deliverables, and owning successful project delivery.

  • Partner with senior leadership on proposals, identifying opportunities for cross service collaboration while managing risk across the project lifecycle.

  • Set the standard for coaching on live work, investing time in upskilling junior colleagues and supporting their career development.

  • Build trusted relationships with client stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of commercial priorities and evolving business needs.


About you

  • Experience advising on real estate transactions or a strong background in UK corporate tax.

  • Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop others within project and team settings.

  • Strong relationship builder who can leverage internal and external networks.

  • Confident communicator with credible influencing and negotiation skills.

  • Accounting or tax qualification or equivalent professional experience gained internationally.
