Summary
This 3-6 month immersive Property Management Trainee Program offers structured training and hands-on exposure to property operations and leasing within Axis Residential's active adult communities. Trainees will work alongside on-site teams, developing leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset while contributing to resident engagement, sales, operations, and financial reporting.

Trainee Program Overview:
Our Property Management Trainee Program is a 3-6 month immersive experience designed to provide structured training and hands-on exposure to property operations and leasing. During the training program, you will work at one of our vibrant Affinity Living Communities and learn what the hype around active adult living is all about! You will contribute to a collaborative team culture while developing the entrepreneurial mindset, leadership skills, and excellence reflex needed to create value for our residents, strengthen community operations, and support exceptional resident experiences. You will gain valuable, hands-on experience working side-by-side with our on-site property management teams on:
Resident Engagement and Retention
On-Site Resident Events and Culture
Sales & Leasing
Operations Management
Outreach Marketing
Financial Reporting and Analysis
Other Details & Qualifications:
Upon successful completion of the training program, you will then be assigned to a full-time position available within our portfolio, thus the ability to relocate is required. Must be a team player who takes a “we over me” approach to building and sustaining relationships with others.
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Senior Living, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, Leadership & Management, or Real Estate preferred.
Excellent communication skills; must be proficient in speaking, reading, and writing in English.
Strong computer skills to include proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Valid driver's license and insured, operable vehicle.
Compensation and Benefits:
Competitive pay starting at $25 per hour (based on experience and location).

Physical Requirements:
Sitting: 3-7 hours/day.
Walking: 1-3 hours/day.
Climbing: 0-3 hours/day, stairs.
Lifting: 10-25 lbs. occasionally.
Endurance: light to moderate energy.
Manual Dexterity: frequent fine motor skills.
Near Vision: minimal near vision.
Environmental and Safety Factors:
Weather: work is primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled office environment with occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including uneven and slippery surfaces.
Noise: frequent exposure to typical office environment noise levels including conversational voice levels; infrequent exposure to high-volume office equipment (e.g., shredder).
Pace of Work: great, multi-tasking/pressure paced environment.
Driving: exposure to environmental and safety conditions related to operating a motor vehicle, including the possibility of bodily injury related to motor vehicle collisions
