Los Angeles-based Evotrex has raised $30 million in a Series A funding round to support the development and commercialization of its power-generating recreational vehicle (RV) trailers.
The round was backed by GSR United Capital, Forebright Concerto Capital, Unique Capital, Pegasus Capital, TTGG Ventures, ChunJia Capital, Thundersoft, and several other investors.
Following the latest investment, Evotrex's total funding has reached $46 million.
Funding to Support Product Development and Manufacturing Readiness
The company plans to use the proceeds to complete the final stages of product development for its Evotrex-PG5 electric RV trailer. In addition, the funding will support automotive-grade testing, validation processes, and production preparation ahead of planned customer deliveries in 2027.
The company is currently focused on bringing the product closer to commercial launch while meeting industry testing and manufacturing standards.
Evotrex Focuses on Off-Grid Travel Solutions
Founded and led by CEO Alex Xiao, Evotrex develops intelligent RV trailers designed for extended outdoor and off-grid travel.
Its flagship product, the Evotrex-PG5, is a twin-axle travel trailer that combines accommodation and onboard energy generation capabilities. The company describes the vehicle as a mobile energy platform designed to provide power support during remote travel.
Key Features of the Evotrex-PG5
One of the notable features of the trailer is its thermal management system. The vehicle can capture excess heat produced by its gasoline-powered generator and use it to help warm the cabin interior.
The trailer also includes a high-capacity battery system supported by roof-mounted solar panels. Additionally, it features a low-noise gasoline generator that operates solely to recharge the battery when external charging options are unavailable.
Through this combination of battery storage, solar energy, and backup power generation, the company aims to support longer off-grid travel experiences for RV users.
