Dolce Glow Raises $11M Series A to Scale Its At-Home Tanning Brand
At-home tanning brand Dolce Glow has raised $11 million in Series A funding as it looks to scale its product portfolio and expand its presence in the beauty and personal care market.
The round was led by Cavu Consumer Partners, with participation from more than 10 celebrities and influencers, including Sofia Richie Grainge, Olivia Culpo, Kensington Tillo, Cierra Ramirez, Yris Palmer and Gabi Moura. Other participants included Barstool Sports podcaster Brianna LaPaglia, makeup artist Ash Holm, Christian McCaffrey, Alyssa Caparelli, Jaclyn Hill, Riley Saurage and Sadie McKenna.
Founded in 2015 by Isabel Alysa, Dolce Glow initially operated as a professional tanning business before entering the at-home tanning market in 2021. Alysa, who serves as the company's CEO, built the brand around her experience as a professional tanner and has worked with celebrities including Kim Kardashian and Alix Earle.
Dolce Glow is now known for its range of self-tanning mists, mousses and serums, alongside a growing selection of hybrid tanning makeup products.
Its product portfolio includes the Acqua Hydrating Face Mist, Lusso Self-Tanning Mousse and newer products designed to combine tanning with makeup and skincare formats.
The company has also been expanding its retail distribution. Dolce Glow launched online at Sephora in February and entered roughly 300 Sephora locations, following its earlier expansion into Ulta Beauty stores in 2024.
In August, the company introduced its $28 Blush Me Flushed Self Tanning Blush, extending its product range into makeup while maintaining its focus on long-lasting tanning effects.
The latest funding will give Dolce Glow additional capital to build on its retail expansion, develop new products and strengthen the brand as it moves beyond its core self-tanning category.
Cavu Consumer Partners said Dolce Glow combines Alysa's professional expertise and founder story with prestige formulations and modern product formats. The investor believes the company could expand beyond sunless tanning into a broader skin and body care platform.
For Dolce Glow, the latest round represents a significant step in the transition from a founder-led tanning business into a broader beauty brand with growing retail distribution.
The company's challenge now will be turning its celebrity-led brand awareness and retail expansion into sustained consumer demand as it competes in an increasingly crowded beauty and personal care market.
