Summary and responsibilities

Role overview

Summary

- Become part of an international growing company.

Benefits from working with us

  • Become part of an international growing company.
  • You get the chance to work on exciting and challenging projects. We never stop innovating or experimenting with new technological advances.
  • A transparent career path with training possibilities.
  • There are plenty of times to connect with colleagues: teambuilding, company events, on-site fit sessions,…
  • You have the possibility to work in a flexible environment. We offer a home working policy for two days a week.
  • In addition to an attractive salary, we offer a personalized Televic Bonus Plan and legal benefits.

Explore your role with us

  • You work at the intersection of software, hardware, networking, and embedded systems, building a thorough understanding of our complex onboard railway solutions.
  • You review system requirements and translate them into robust, maintainable test strategies and automated test scenarios.
  • This role involves complex well-thought system level test executions. You will primarily develop Python-based tools, extend our automation framework, and improve how systems are tested and diagnosed.
  • Testing goes well beyond recording pass/fail results: you investigate unexpected behavior, analyze logs and interfaces, reproduce issues, and debug across system components to identify root causes.
  • You collaborate closely with developers, provide clear technical findings, and contribute to solutions that improve both the product and its design.
  • You develop automated regression coverage and continuously improve the reliability, efficiency, and depth of our testing.
  • Ultimately, you are the final technical quality gate before our systems are deployed on operational trains worldwide.

How you can add value to our team

  • You combine relevant experience with a degree in engineering.
  • You are a versatile, hands-on generalist QA who is comfortable working across software, hardware, systems, and tooling.
  • This role goes well beyond executing straightforward manual tests and recording pass/fail results: it requires genuine system-level understanding, hands-on debugging, and the ability to investigate issues across the product’s design, software, hardware, and interfaces.
  • You have practical testing experience, including designing and executing system, integration, and regression tests.
  • You have strong Python skills and a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).
  • You have practical networking knowledge and can troubleshoot network-related issues.
  • You are confident working with Linux and embedded systems, including accessing and troubleshooting devices via SSH.
  • You are ready to dive into, use, and help further develop our Python automation framework. Our automation initiative is a key focus area, and you will play an active role in expanding and strengthening our automation ecosystem, working alongside a dedicated QA Automation Engineer and the rest of the System QA team to support growing automation needs across the team.
